Survival Rates: About 10.5% of patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) survive to hospital discharge.

Bystander Intervention: Bystander CPR is initiated in roughly 41.7% of OHCA cases.

Survival Impact: If CPR is performed immediately, survival rates can increase by as much as 45%.

Timing is Critical: Survival chances drop by 7-10% for every minute without CPR. Even if delayed by 10 minutes, CPR offers a 19% higher survival rate compared to no CPR at all.

Location of Arrests: Roughly 88% of cardiac arrests occur at home, while more than 15% occur in public locations.
